I spent my childhood in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but moved to Mountainburg when I was twelve years old. I graduated from Mountainburg High School (Home of the Dragons). I attended Westark Community College and the University of Arkansas. After graduating from college, I taught second and third grades at Mountainburg Elementary School. After staying home with my children for eight years, I was hired as principal at Winslow Elementary. I served as principal for four years before joining the Prairie Grove team. This will be my sixth year as principal at Prairie Grove. I live in Winslow, Arkansas with my husband, Don and my son, Cambron (17) and daughter, Steppen (13).
